How good is physical punishment in children?
There have been many investigations and discussions about whether physical punishment is good or bad.
Hoping to find a balance point, the positive and negative parts of this practice have been removed.
These new generations have lived completely
different experiences than what we as parents could have had, What really makes
us wonder if at some point it is appropriate to have some physical punishment
when the child really does not want to understand with just reasons what they
want to make him practice for the good of his integral formation.
A pat from time to time would not be completely
negative if the child can be made to see that with this act discipline should
be a good practice so that he can truly form himself as a person of good. To
know if the practice of physical punishment is more effective or less
effective, could be determined by the space of the generation gap that can
separate us from our children
It is my opinion from my own experience that an adequate shake from time to time can be beneficial for the upbringing of children in our time.
